How it works

Snap a photo of your meal
Use your phone camera directly in the app, or pick an existing photo from your gallery. No need to type food names โ€” the photo does the talking.

Tag the context
Select your meal type (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Snack, or Supper), where you ate, how you were feeling, and the time. Just a few taps โ€” no typing needed.

Write your journal note
Visit the Journal tab anytime to write how a meal made you feel โ€” before, during, or after. Cravings, fullness, discomfort, emotions โ€” anything that helps paint a fuller picture.

Generate your clinical report
When ready, head to the Report tab to produce a structured day-by-day photo diary with all your meal context and notes. Share it with your dietitian or save it as a PDF.

Your data stays on your device.
MakanLah stores everything โ€” photos, notes, and meal logs โ€” directly on your phone or browser using IndexedDB. Nothing is uploaded to any server. You choose when to share your report, and with whom.
